EDM is the most precise method of producing laminations or cutting stacks. Rippy has three Mitsubishi electrostatic discharge machines with a cutting window of 24” x 16” x 10” tall. We can typically hold tenths of a thousandth of an inch tolerance on these machines. They are also used to produce our own stamping tools in house.
